Todays lesson was targeted at looking and understanding more about what does cooling systems mean on a vehicle. The first task was to arange a list of the major components that make up the cooling system on a vehicle. The water, oil and brakes were the main areas that required proper cooling. After listing the major components, the function of these were stated and finally a schematic drawing was produced to see how it works.

Our last task was to study the Ginetta G55 in the lab and confirm our findings. From this we could compare our list of components against a proper race car!

On this photo we see heat exchangers for: oil, turbo and for the water !
